- The VISN 10 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Alliant Heatlthcare Products a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business to purchase twenty five (25) Styrker Silver3 Isoflex mattresses. The procurement will be for the VAMC Cincinnati, Ohio. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 337910 and the Small Business Standard is $500 Employees and the Government believes that Alliant Heatlthcare Products is the only manufacture that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with sole source procurement for the required supplies and or services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 - Authorized by Statue and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge, Alliant Heatlthcare Products, Richland, MI is the only source that provides the above indicated items and features. This is a notice of intent to sole source and is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Telephone and facsimile requests/inquiries will not be accepted. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at ronald.heidemann@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Cincinnati VA Medical Center will precede with the sole source negotiation with Alliant Heatlthcare Products, Richland, MI.
