- FIXED-WING AEROMAGNETIC SURVEY OVER THE SACRAMENTO DELTA The Department of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, has a requirement for a fixed-wing aeromagnetic survey over the Sacramento delta. The order of magnitude of the coverage area is 8,000 line miles (primary), 6,000 line miles (secondary/optional), and 1,000 line miles (tertiary/optional). It is estimated that the total period of performance shall be not-to-exceed 180 days from award to submission of final deliverables. The USGS contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract utilizing the commercial services acquisition procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The solicitation, including detailed specifications and source selection criteria, will be available through www.fbo.gov on or after 01 November 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. Interested parties may contact the Contracting Officer identified below by email to be added to the interest list. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541360, entitled Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services. The associated small business size standard is $4.5M in average (three year moving average) annual revenue. This immediate acquisition is unrestricted (full and open competition) and there is no incumbent contractor.
