- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charlie Norwood VAMC Augusta, GA intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price contract with Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) 33 Technology Drive, Irvine, CA 92618 on a sole sources basis pursuit to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial items procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 for the purchase of emergency, semi- annual and annual preventative maintenance inspection and repair service on two (2) Sterrad Equipment Model number 100NXT1-DR systems. All service on the equipment shall be performed by a certified ASP service technician. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339112. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide manufacturer training certificate and capabilities statement to Contracting Officer no later than 22 October 2010; 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Documents shall be e-mailed to Filida.enoch@va.gov or mailed to Department of Veterans Affairs; Charlie Norwood VAMC; 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. Based on the responses received, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes.
