- Description
- DLA Aviation intends to acquire Closed-Loop Recycled Antifreeze through the use of a long-term contract awarded against solicitation SPM4A2-10-R-0015. This solicitation is comprised of 9 NSNs covering Customer Direct (CD) CONUS requirements only. NSNs include: 6850-01-571-9668, 6850-01-571-9640, 6850-01-571-9599, 6850-01-571-9571, 6850-01-571-9666, 6850-01-571-9683, 6850-01-571-9675, 6850-01-571-9686 and 6850-01-571-9656. The program entails the contractor supplying recycled antifreeze, providing for pick-up of used antifreeze, and recycling of used antifreeze. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price with EPA adjustment, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a one year base period and four one-year option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in this solicitation all fall under FSC 6850. Full and Open Competition Applies, this is considered a signficant bundled acquisition. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board Syatem at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 14 October 2010. THE SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR THE CLOSED LOOP RECYCLED ANTIFREEZE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO REFLECT THE FISCAL YEAR 2011. THE NEW SOLICITATION NUMBER IS SPM4A211R0001. THE SOLICITATION DATE ISSUE DATE REMAINS 14 OCTOBER 2010.
