- Recovery Action: The purpose of this work activity is to provide field Engineering Support services to DOE-SR for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). With the ARRA funding allocation of more than $1.6 Billion, SRS will decommission surplus nuclear reactor facilities, accelerate transuranic (TRU) waste disposition, remediate soil and groundwater, and complete area closure. Rationale: The award was competitively awarded as a Labor Hour Task Order due to the inability to forecast or define the M&O contractor's evolving scope of work. The DOE oversight of the contractor's performance of the ARRA scope of work will be intermittent, unpredictable, and undefined as the scope evolves and the work is executed.
