- Description
- The Contractor shall update the AWIS system to support modifications to Launch Control System (LCS) 103 Revision 1 (Rev 1) version. The Contractor shall incorporate 10 Problem Reports (PRs) and/or Software Change Requests (SCRs) approved by the AWCS DDT. The specific 10 PRs and SCRs must be presented to and approved by SP23. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
