- Description
- The 48th Contracting Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom is seeking sources interested in providing packing, containerization, and local drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as government -furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through Direct Procurement Method (DPM). The contractor shall be obligated to provide packing and crating services for all local intra-city and intra-area moves and outbound household goods shipments. The contract shall be Non-Personal in nature and in strict accordance with the PWS, subject terms and conditions of the main contract, and each task order. The base year performance period will be for four (4) months with an anticipated start date of 1 June 2011 through 30 September 2011 with four (4) additional one-year ordering periods. Areas of performance for this requirement will consist of RAF Alconbury, Croughton, Fairford, Feltwell, Lakenheath, and Mildenhall, as well as, all Geographically Separated Units (GSU) in the United Kingdom.
