- SPECIAL NOTICE SYNOPSIS: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Development and Operations Division Code (PA10) has a requirement for a satellite hub recording/best source select/data processing decom device, and modem that is compliant with the FCC Part 25.222, Paragraph (a)(1). The satellite must provide appropriate a spread spectrum technology to meet the 4.5 Mbps data rate requirement with spread spectrum technology to support a SATCOM project using a small 24 KU-band antenna to transfer data at a rate of up to 4.5 Mbps. The equipment must be a highly reliable, available, mobile, and temporary shipboard communication system which is able to communicate and coordinate operations and manipulate/transfer Aegis Weapons System (AWS) data to shore based teams during the Navy/FMS Test and Evaluation Events. The satellite modem and hub must have a spread spectrum that allows the signal to stay within the power spectral density, as restricted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The Government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to iDirect Government Technologies, Inc. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.SC. 2304(c)(1). The associated NAICS Classification is 334220 and the size standard in number of employees is 750.
