Description

The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firm to provide all labor, material, equipment, and expert supervision necessary to design Energy Improvements and Air Conditioning, Building 8, Gymnasium at the VA Medical Center located at 1700 E. 38th Street Marion, Indiana 46953: A/E will: Design of all aspects of the HVAC System. Include Ground Source Heat Pump(s) as one option of the study. Design for additional insulation for the walls, roof, etc. for maximum energy efficiency. Design for new replacement of the old windows and doors with energy efficient windows and doors. Design for replacement of the old lighting with energy efficient lighting. Interested firms are required to submit: two (2) copies of Standard Form (SF) 330 (available at http://www.gsa.gov/forms), Part 1 and Part 2 to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Attn: Robert O. Nash (90C), 2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805, no later than 4:30 p.m. (Local Time), November 5, 2010. This requirement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. A/E Cost Range: $25,000 - $100,000. Estimated Construction: $892,000.
