Noun: REGULATOR, OXYGEN, DEApplicable to: F-16NSN: 1660-01-473-3549 BOP/N: 3260050-0204 Estimated Issue Date: 22-OCT-2010 - Estimated Response Date: 22-NOV-2010Solicitation No.: SPRTA1-11-Q-0017PR No.: FD2030-11-80083AMC: 2CQualification Requirements: YES NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL ONLY The items, estimated quantities and required deliveries are as follows: L/I 0001 - NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL Noun: REGULATOR, OXYGEN, DEDimensions: 4.67"l; 3"w; 5.75"h; 3.75lb wt.Material: Made of CRES aluminum and miscellaneous other materials.Function: Provides enhanced breathing capability with "G" onset rate.Works from 20-500 PSI. Provides oxygen to crew.Destination: B SW3211Required Delivery: 30 JUNE 2011, Quantity: 8.00 EA, MIN 2/MAX 12(Revalidation required) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, or alimited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received withinforty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii),All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources, inaccordance with clause, Qualification Requirements. The Government isNOT required to delay contract award to review pending Source ApprovalRequest (SAR). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs ASSOON AS POSSIBLE. If the Government has not completed review of a SARwhen the contract is awarded the SAR will be retained and the sourcewill be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. Toobtain technical data on this item go to www.fedbizops.gov. If a SAR isobtained before contract award the solicitation will be amended toinclude First Article CLINs and the appropriate clauses. First Articlemay be required if vendor does not meet waiver requirements. If so, thesolicitation will be amended to include First Article line items andclauses.
