- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command is sponsoring an unclassified Industry Day for the upcoming competitive requirement for the US Navy's C-130T Avionics Obsolescence Upgrade (AOU) Program. The event will provide a general overview of PMA-207's AOU requirements, a forum to ask questions, networking opportunities, and an opportunity to have a one-on-one session with the Government. The Industry Day will take place on the 9th and 10th of November 2010. The Industry Day is intended to give Industry partners the opportunity to ask questions and to provide feedback on the Government's draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be released on or around 25 October, 2010. The draft PWS will be forwarded to registered participants and also posted as an update to this announcement. Industry partners are requested to submit specific questions and feedback regarding the draft PWS via e-mail to Ms. Teri Berrian at teri.berrian@navy.mil no later than 15:00 on 3 November 2010. Please indicate whether the question is "General" - to be addressed during the Industry Day presentation or "Private" - to be discussed in a one-on-one session. The Industry Day will begin at 08:30 on 9 November 2010 at DCS Corp Building 1 located at 46641 Corporate Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653. The complex will be open by 08:00 to accommodate registration verification. Following the Industry Day presentation, the Government will host one-on-one sessions with interested Prime Offerors, along with their anticipated subcontractor team, provided prior coordination with the Government is established. The one-on-one sessions give Prime Offerors a chance to ask specific questions regarding the program that they did not want to share during the presentation. These sessions will be limited to 45 minutes and will be held between 13:00 - 17:00 on Nov 9th and all day on Nov 10th starting at 08:00. Session times will be randomly assigned and Prime Offerors will be notified of their time slot via email. Industry Day Registration: Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited to three individuals for each company. Companies are required to email Ms. Teri Berrian at teri.berrian@navy.mil by 15:00 EST, 25 October 2010, the following Pre-Registration information: (1) Company Name, (2) Company Size under NAIC 334511, (3) CAGE Code, (4) Name(s) of employees / representatives attending, and, (5) if you are a Prime Offeror, whether your company would be interested in participating in one-on-one discussions. A confirmation email will be sent upon verification of CAGE Code. Attendee substitution requests may be submitted to the same points of contact by 15:00 EST, 1 November 2010. All questions regarding Industry Day shall be submitted via e-mail to the registration points of contact. IMPORTANT: Attendees will be required to present a CURRENT government issued photo ID (driver's license, military ID, or passport) matching the information provided above upon check-in. Please allow sufficient time for the check-in/verification process. Late registration and "walk-in" requests will not be permitted. Hard copies of the presentation materials will not be provided at the Industry Day. However, the Industry Day presentation, resulting Questions and Answers, and a listing of the Companies who attended will be provided via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website following the event. This announcement is not a contract, a request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
