Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. Two contractors will provide services in Brooklyn, New York and two contractors will provide services in Manhattan, New York. For services in Brooklyn, the physical location of the treatment services are to be no further north than Tillary Street, no further east than Flatbush Avenue, no further south than Bergen Street, and no further west than Clinton Street. For services in Manhattan, the physical location for treatment services are to be no further north than 59th Street, no further east than Park Avenue, no further south than 30th Street, and no further west than 9th Avenue. The location of the services should be accessible to local Public Transportation (if available). Performance periods under this contract will be for a nine month base period to begin on January 1, 2010 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with services ending (if all options are renewed) on September 30, 2015. The services required for this contract include a Nine Month Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders include: Base Year Guaranteed Minimum: Estimated number of inmates = 79 Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 79 inmates = 79 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units (per inmate) x 79 = 1,896 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 79 = 5,688 units Psychiatric Health Intake & Assessment = 1 report per inmate x 5 inmates = 5 reports Mental Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. The estimated closing date is on or about November 4, 2010. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
