- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA has a requirement for HVAC maintenance and filter and belt replacement. The solicitation will be available on or about Friday October 8, 2010 to the Federal Business Opportunity Website. Offers will be due to the Point of Contact by 9:00 a.m., October 22, 2010. Notice of Set-Aside for Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns: (a) the proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to service disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Offers or proposals from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $13 million dollars. This means that businesses furnishing the services described below, with average annual revenue under $13 million dollars are considered small businesses. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All information provided will become property of the Department of Veterans Affairs and will not be returned. The requirement is for the following services. Vendor will furnish all materials, equipment and labor required to perform HVAC maintenance and replacement of filters and belts of the HVAC Equipment located at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA per the statement of work (SOW). Filter and belt replacement will provide all labor, in tow man crews, required to perform two filter and belt replacements per year for all fan coil units and specified air handling units. The Coatesville VA Medical center will provide all replacement filters and belts. Period of performance shall be the date of award through September 30, 2011 with an option to extend the period by up to four additional years. Exercising the option to extend the contract is at the sole discretion of the VA Contracting Officer. Solicitation will be released on or about October 8, 2010 with a closing date of October 22, 2010. A site visit will be scheduled for October 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Please report to building 19 South.
