- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to award on a sole-source basis to Colonial Assembly and Design LLC, 3361 Shannon Airport Circle, Fredericksburg, VA 22408-2337 for five (5) tape drive units that consist of two new USB interfaces and three ASY-101620 units converted to USB interface. All units will have Government Furnished Magnetic Tape Cartridge (MTC) drives and required hardware installed in the units by Colonial Assembly. The original design and fabrication of all previous (IEEE-488, Serial DB-25 and USB interfaces for the AN/SLQ-32(V) tape reproduction units were performed by Colonial Assembly and Design LLC. Colonial Assembly and Design LLC is the only certified agent that is able to meet the Government ™s needs. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American industry Classification System code is 334418, 500 employees. The closing date is 12 October 2010. The anticipated award date is 13 October 2010.
