Description
This is a Brand Name or Equal combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20090115. SIC Code is 3537 with a business size of 750 Employees, NAICS Code is 333924. *This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below as described in FAR 52.211-16-Brand Name or Equal. 45 CONS/LGCB, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase commercial items manufactured by Lockheed, P/N 3402765-1 Minimum Salient Characteristic: System Performance Specifications: ITEM DESCRIPTION OF MATERIAL OR SERVICES TO BE PURCHASED QUANTITY UNIT 0001- Hoist Assembly Boom, Hoist assembly, 1 EA 30' long x 30 " wide x 12 " tall. weight 25 lbs. Unit consist of a welded tubular steel rotating boom that attaches to the engine gear box. Unit is utilized to safely and efficiently remove/replace C130 engines. Lockheed, P/N 3402765-1 or equal Preferred Delivery: Earliest Possible Delivery Date but Not Later than 30 Days After Receipt of Order. Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Patrick AFB, FL 32925 The following provisions and clauses apply: Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
