- The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MathWorks for the purchase of software licenses and support subscriptions. The proposed acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis because MathWorks does not have authrozied resellers for thier academia products. These products will be procured in accordance with FAR 13. A Firm Fixed Price type of contract is contemplated for the proposed contract vehicle with an anticipated award date on or about October 1, 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by closing date will be considered by the government. A determination of the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
