- ***** PLEASE NOTE SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8601-11-R-0080 WILL REPLACE SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8601-10-R-0030 FOR AFIT/AFRL WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE CUSTODIAL SERVICES. THE NUMBER HAS BEEN CHANGED SINCE WE ARE IN A NEW YEAR, HOWEVER ALL DOCUMENTS, ATTACHMENTS, AND ANY INFORMATION IN THE PAST AND GOING FORWARD THAT REFER TO FA8601-10-R-0030 WILL NOW FALL UNDER FA8601-11-R-0080. PLEASE REFRENCE FA8601-11-R-0080 FROM HERE FORWARD. ***** **************************************************************** The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation FA8601-10-R-0030 for a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable contract with one base year and four one-year option periods for custodial services for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and the Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio on or around 13 July 2010. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) standards, instructions, and commercial practices. This potential acquisition of services is 100% set-aside for HubZone. In order to qualify for this program, an offeror must be a certified HubZone prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents will be available at http://www.fbo.gov. All interested offerors must download documents from this web site. No hard copies will be available. All interested offerors are requested to electronically register in order to receive e-mail notification of updates to this solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) shall be posted on Fed Biz Opps at http://www.fbo.gov along with the Solicitation once posted.
