This acquisition is a total small business set aside and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. The size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. Companies should fully review the solicitation and all 16 attachments. All questions shall be directed to Evelyn S. Tyndell, Contract Specialist via email at Evelyn.Tyndell@dhs.gov no later than 3pm local time (Washington, DC) on Thursday, October 28, 2010. All answers will be provided as an amendment to this solicitation via the FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES website. The solicitation due date is no later than 4pm local time (Washington, DC) on Friday, November 19, 2010. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will solicit quotes from Small Businesses only to provide Steel Lockers and other miscellaneous steel furniture products and perform the related services such as project management, installation and repair for TSA field offices nationwide. The contractor must be able to provide all products and services to all airport locations throughout the Continental United States, Hawai'i, Alaska, Guam, US Virgin Islands and US Territories. The Contractor will be required to provide steel furniture to secure personal belongings, equipment and supplies and storage for large quantities of consumables. The Contractor will also be required to provide installation services, delivery, repair and relocation services, maintenance services, and program management. This acquisition is a total small business set aside and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. The size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. TSA anticipates publishing the RFQ on or about August 2, 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FEDBIZOPPS), with quotes due on or about September 8, 2010. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) award is estimated on or about November 15, 2010 with an effective start date on or about December 1, 2010. The total period of performance of the resultant BPA will be five (5) years. This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for a claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this notice or Government use of any information provided. Request for the solicitation will not be accepted, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. Place of Performance: Continental United States, Hawai'i, Alaska, Guam, US Virgin Islands and US Territories.
