- FISC San Diego Regional Contracts Department anticipates procuring services through FAR Part 12 to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance starting 1 November 2010, with four option years. This effort will be unrestricted for full and open competition. Contractor must be must be CCR registered. NAICS 515210 Cable and Other Subscription Programming “ Business Size $15 Million. Contractor is to: Install and maintain a TV satellite system. 100 MPEG-2-311 receivers, the necessary amount of switches (approx 26), satellites (approx 13), RG cable drop in four different buildings in Tinker AFB. Support satellite service to include approx 41 channels including local channels. A mix of channels from the standard commercial packages are acceptable; Variety Pack, Education and Arts, History and More, News and Lifestyles, Action Package, Discovery Package. Support commercial standard warranty on equipment and installation for the duration of the contract. Note: Channel service and warranty on installation/equipment will have four option years for a total of five years of service, if the government decides to exercise those options to extend the service. Contractor will be required to price out all option years accordingly to be considered responsive. The RFQ - Solicitation will be available for download on or around 12 October 2010 and will close 25 October 2010 at 1700 Pacific Standard Time. Synopsis will close on 12 October 2010.
