- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (Blanket Purchase Agreement). THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity was available only to Hunter Rice PC under BPA DOLQ091A20828 Modification No. 0004. The employment & Training Administration awarded modification no. 0004, in the amount of $57,049 to Hunter Rice PC. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The contractor will provide support to assist the government to complete required closeout actions in the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA). The ETA awards grants to state and local governments. The contractor will also support Employment and Training to complete required closeout actions in accordance with Department of Labor procedures and processes for approximately 450-700 grants per year. The Blanket Purchase Agreement modification was awarded on a sole source basis. Hunter Rice PC have extensive experience in reviewing and analyzing reconciling grant records and accounting systems and determing the adequancy of documentation submitted by grantees. Completion of closeout inaccordance with government and Departmental requirements may result in complex negotiations and documentation. Hunter Rice has served as a major support to closeout and have sufficient technological expertise as it relates to the use of an electronic grant management system for completion of work. The blanket purchase agreement that is modified by this action is a blanket purchase agreement under Hunter Rice PC that provides support to Employment and Training closeout/accounting that are funded by annual appropriations. It is in the best interest of the government to ensure continuity of support for services provided. Note: Option Year 2 funds
