- Recovery Action: The purpose of this work activity is to provide support to the DOE-SR Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) in the acquisition, tracking, reporting, and disposition of Government assets supporting the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The contractor will organize efforts to identify difficult disposition of materials on site and coordinate their input for scheduled deactivation and/or disposal associated with the Recovery Act. With the ARRA funding allocation of more than $1.6 Billion, SRS will decommission surplus nuclear reactor facilities, accelerate transuranic (TRU) waste disposition, remediate soil and groundwater, and complete area closure. The award was competitively awarded as a Fixed Price Task Order. The DOE oversight of the contractor's performance of the ARRA scope of work will be intermittent, unpredictable, and undefined as the scope evolves and the work is executed.
