- *****AMENDMENT TO THE PREVIOUS PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT: I9796100120 ***** THIS AMENDMENT TO PRESOLICITATION NOTICE NUMBER I9796100120 REVISES THE ISSUANCE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION TO READ ON OR ABOUT OCTOBER 22, 2010. The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Alaska Region Office intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to construct a mechanical and electrical system for the Brooks Camp Maintenance Facility at Katmai National Park & Preserve. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The successful contractor shall provide all materials, tools, equipment, labor, supervision and shall do all things necessary to provide interior improvements to the Brooks Camp Maintenance Facility at Brooks Camp, Katmai National Park & Preserve. The improvements shall consist of completion of mechanical components, with an optional bid item to complete electrical components. Completion date is November 30, 2011. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Be advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during process based on decisions related to Department of the Interior (DOI) and National Park Service (NPS) changes. GENERAL INFORMATION: ****SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE**** This IFB will be issued under FAR Subpart 19.5 (Set-Asides for Business) and is restricted to those Small Business concerns. ESTIMATED RANGE: In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS: 236210, the Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $33.5M. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION: To be eligible for a government contract, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) government system prior to award. The link for the CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov. We advise potential bidders to begin the registration process when they prepare their bid to ensure the registration in the CCR database is complete and in-place should they be selected for award (see FAR Subpart 4.11). ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS &CERTIFICATIONS APPLICATION (ORCA): Prospective contractors shall complete the electronic annual representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration database (see FAR Subpart 4.12) IFB ISSUANCE DATE: The anticipated issuance date of the IFB is on or about OCTOBER 22, 2010 (subject to change) with an anticipated bid opening date of NOVEMBER 22, 2010. Upon issuance the IFB will be posted and available for download at the National Business Center (http://ideasec.nbc.gov). In addition, general information and links to the solicitation will be provided at the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov).
