- SOURCES SOUGHT: The U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod is performing a market survey to identify resources available in southeast New England to perform general medical linen and laundering service. In general this service consists of the rental, weekly pick-up, cleaning and weekly drop off and restocking of scrub uniforms, lab coats, scrub warm-up jackets, towels, twin bed pillowcases and linens and ambulance crew member uniforms for the Kaehler Memorial Medical Clinic located at USCG Air Station Cape Cod. 1. The specific functions under this request include: rental scrub uniforms, lab coats, scrub warm-up jackets, towels, twin bed pillowcases and linens and ambulance crew members' uniforms and weekly laundering of all rental uniforms and linens. Sizes and quantities will vary depending on number of Government Personnel assigned to the clinic. Parties interested and able to fulfill these functions are requested to provide their name, address, phone number, and a brief listing of their capabilities, staffing, and/or current contracts similar to the scopes listed above. This action is being considered as a 100% set-aside for small business participation only. The purpose of this notice is to determine if there are qualified small businesses that have the experience in linen service functions and if such businesses are interested in this procurement. The NAICS code is 812331. Interested small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Specialist in writing, as early as possible, but not later than 3 calendar days from the date of this notice. If adequate interest in not received from small business concerns, this action will not be set-aside for small business and will be issued pursuant to full and open competition without further notice. This is not a Request for Proposal; only a Request for Information. No award will result from this Sources Sought Request.
