- Amendment Continuation Sheet for A00003 Amendment A00003 Amendment A00003 dated 10/05/10 the FAR CLauses 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 which were updated on 09/29/10 on FAC 2005-46. Amendment A00002 dated 09/27/10, Correct Supplies/Services and Prices/Costs sheet with all Work Items listed. Amendment A00001 date 09/24/10. UPLOAD: Soliciation, Specification & Schedule B. The RFQ closes 10/15/10 at 1100 am EST. The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends to issue a Commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) for DryDock Repairs to the USCGC EDISTO, a 110 Foot "A" Class Patrol Boat (WPB-1313). The Coast Guard intends to conduct the procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The simplified acquisition will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), on or about September 07, 2010. The RFQ will be issued via the Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPS) web page at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the specification and solicitation will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FEDBIZOPS web page for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. FEDBIZOPS also contains an option automatic notification service. THE ACQUISITION WILL BE SOLICITED AS A SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZone. The acquisition is for DRYDOCK repairs to the USCGC EDISTO (WPB-1313) homeport in San Diego, CA. There is a geographic restriction for this dry dock availability to a facility within the United States West Coast San Francisco Bay and South. The performance period will be about FIFTY-NINE (59) calendar days with a start date on or about 12 JANAURY 2011. The place of performance will be at the contractor's facility. The scope of the acquisition is for the overhauling, cleaning and repairing of various items aboard the USCGC EDISTO (WPB-1313).
