- Description
- NAVAIR plans to place a Firm Fixed Price delivery order with The Raytheon Company in support of the AN/ALR V-3 System. NAVAIR previously procured eight (8) Aft Enhanced Antenna Detectors (EADs) from Raytheon and now needs these units converted into eight (8) Direct Inject Integrated Microwave Integrated Circuits (IMIC) Assemblies. The period of performance shall be Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the AN/ALR V-3 system and its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel to accomplish the task. Any interested party must have all the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel to accomplish this effort within the schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate responder's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
