- Request No: X1X34ASWR00 The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Catherine Cappello, 5036 N Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60640 for the following service. Reader for a visually impaired person for handwritten documents. Every work day for no more than 5 hours/day. Estimate 185 days workdays. No travel expense or travel time paid. The Internal Revenue Service intends to award for a base year and two option years. The period of performance is from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2013. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement the Government will solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date by October 8, 2010.
