- PR No: 0028280840; this solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a Control Wheel, Co-Pilot utilized on the C-5 Aircraft. This solicitation is for award of a definite quantity contract. Configuration, export, and source control apply. NSN: 1680-00-241-7901 OEM: Lockheed Martin Corp. CAGE 98897 P/N 4D97641-103B Approved Source: Mason Electric Company CAGE 81579 P/N 720-5004 22 ea Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 390 days. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation.
