- Description
- Justification and Approval Document for Sole Source The 2nd Contracting Squadron has a requirement for Command & Control Environments (CCE) to install a command post console at Barksdale AFB, LA.This contract will include the implementation of the Command Post Console. This system will be centrally managed at Barksdale AFB for use across AFGSC. This product is made by CCE and is a follow-on to an existing purchase. The 2nd Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 2nd Contracting Squadron intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Command and Control Environments, 305 E. Wall St., Grapevine, TX 76051-5277. The NAICS code for this procurement is 337212 with a size standard not to exceed 500 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
