- The VA Central Iowa Health Care System is seeking sources able to provide snow and ice removal at their two facilities located at 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, Iowa and 1515 West Pleasant in Knoxville, Iowa. The Government is seeking to issue a solicitation under a set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to procure this service for a period not to exceed three years (base year plus two one-year renewal options) and will do so depending on the qualified interest to this sources sought. Large and small businesses are welcome to respond for information purposes in the event no Service Disabled Veteran owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Businesses have the capacity to provide this service. A solicitation will be electronically issued on approximately October 15, 2010 with a closing date 30 days from the solicitation issuance date. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 561790; size standard is $7.0 million.
