- 46,000 each, Cardboard tube, PN 9829; Staple installed in one end plug (no 8 7/16 ich crown 1/2 inch leg) tube. Apply.005 inch thick moisture resistant silver foil wrap, both end plugs should be metal and fit tightly. The tube should be constructed out of.095 inch wall thickness chipboard. Interior shall be lined with a.005 inch thick silicone coated kraft tube, will withstand a longitudinal crush force of at least 1400 lbs when tested on a compression force test machine using an approach velocity of 20 inch per minute. The force is centered over the tube ends and applied thru memal plates placed over each tube ends. Ends of tube will be square cut. tubes will be packed and shipped in a 30 in X 20 in X 37 in hi (inside dimensions) 200 LB crush test RCS cardboard (or equivalent) carton. They will be packed 24 tubes per cartoon. they will not be skid mounted.
