- Description
- The J&A authorized the issuance of a modification to contract N00019-09-C-0005 to incorporate an immediate Polish warfighter need for Scan Eagle UAS for ISR. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a modification to Contract # N00019-09-C-0005 for Scan Eagle Unmanned Aircraft Systems to Insitu, Inc. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. Under FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency, Insitu is the only source which can fulfill mission critical requirements and ultimately prevent serious injury to Government personnel and equipment as a result of any delay to the schedule. Such delay could result in loss of life or significant property damage to U.S. and Coalition forces in the area of operations.
