- A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:00am EST. Contractors should register for a day pass at the front desk, and should then gather in the first floor atrium. All proposals must be received by the VA no later than Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 4:30pm EST, and should be marked with solicitation number VA-250-10-RP-0160. This requirement is to provide snow plowing services, snow removal and hauling, and deicing for the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC-Columbus), 420 N. James Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219-1834. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the authority of Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127) and is a 100% Set-Aside for Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). The VOSB must be small under the relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and MUST be registered and able to be verified in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx, https://vets100.vets.dol.gov, and http://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Bidders MUST ensure registration in these websites are accurate and have not expired prior to proposal due date. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561790 and the business size standard is $7 million. All interested offerors should register at https://www.fbo.gov/ so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at https://www.fbo.gov/. Paper copies of the amendment will NOT be individually mailed. By registering in the watchlist and any other appropriate sections, you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification amendment will be provided. Bidders should re-visit the Website periodically to look for updates.
