Description

RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. NIST has awarded an 8(a) sole source contract for Support for the Acceleration of Smart Grid Interoperability and Cyber Security Standards, Testing and Certification THE CONTRACT WAS AWARDED TO IPKEYS TECHNOLOGIES LLC, 1 INDUSTRIAL WAY WEST, BUILDING E SUITES G& H, EATONTOWN, NJ 07724 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,302,986.00 A labor hour type Contract was chosen due to the uncertainties involved with contract performance, and the fact that it is not possible to accurately estimate the extent of Contractor effort to complete all of the assigned consulting tasks under this contract. Because of these uncertainties, the effect of using any type of fixed-price contract would increase the cost to the Government because the offeror would have to factor in significant risk into their price
