- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, is soliciting offers on a unrestricted basis for the purchase of 84 AHSS Sensors, 4 Network Termination Boxes, 24 Spare RH Sensors, 12 Spare DB Sensors, 12 Spare GT Sensors, 2 Heat Stress Sensors Circuit Cards, and 4 on-site service with Deban Enterprises. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the October 30, 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm-fixed price type contract is anticipated to result from the solicitation. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334513.
