Description
THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. A GSA Schedule 70 Task Order has been awarded for the Indian Health Services, Laboratory Information System Interoperability and Standardization using RECOVERY ACT funds. The order is for a non-severable period of performance of September 29, 2010 to September 28, 2012. The total funded amount of this order is $1,996,404.00. Awardee: Cimarron Medical Informatics – GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0343T. The Department of Interior National Business Center’s Acquisition Services Directorate on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services is awarding a task order to obtain Contractor provided services to provide deployment and operational implementation of the bi-directional Resource and Patient Management System Reference Laboratory Interface. Also the implementation and configuration of Logical Observation Identifier Names and Codes and Unified Code for Units of Measure to the system. The contractual action (GSA Schedule Task Order Award) will have all sites within the Indian Health Services network become interoperable with the capability of exchanging clinical laboratory results through the use of Logical Observation Identifier Names codes and standardized data. This requirement is being funded with Recovery Act funds. The services are non-severable in nature. Services procured as a result of this acquisition will be non-personal services, and the duties outsourced are not inherently government functions. ***This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price effort*** Acquisition Services Directorate is an ISO 9001 certified federal organization with a well-trained acquisition staff, offering federal managers solutions by managing complex acquisition processes.
