- THE U.S. BROADCASTING BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BBG), INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING BUREAU (IBB) anticipates the issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation for multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to obtain engineering services and related equipment that include: (i) installing new satellite receiving stations (TVROs) or replacing existing, satellite receiving stations (TVROs) to operate in the BBG's Global Satellite Distribution Network (GSDN), (ii) contractor supplied TVRO equipment; (iii) Radio Frequency interference studies; (iv) site surveys; and (v) other related services in six regions of the world. The contract term will be one year from date of award, with an option to extend for four (4) additional one-year periods at the discretion of the Government. The anticipated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541330. The Solicitation is expected to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about October 15, 2010. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for information or inquiry. All requests and any questions regarding this Notice related to the forthcoming request for proposal (RFP) solicitation document shall be submitted via email to Ms. Myria Carpenter, Office of Contracts (CON), mecarpen@bbg.gov by 2:00pm on October 12, 2010. Telephone responses of a firm's statements of interest, capabilities, and pertinent experience will not be accepted by the BBG. Oral expressions of interest in this proposed procurement will not be accepted. All written expressions of interest shall make reference to this Notice by its title, number, and date of the publication. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Interested firms who desire to obtain a copy of the solicitation document shall submit a written request to Ms. Myria Carpenter at the above-listed address or via e-mail to mecarpen@bbg.gov.
