- PR 0027681826. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-11-R-0005, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract for NSN 3655-00-936-8900, Furnace Assembly. This NSN is a part numbered item and the approved source is CAGE 0FMB1, P/N 501597. Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing Other than Full and Open Competitive procedures. The purchase request quantity is 40 each. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Government First Article Testing (FAT) is required. A sample of 1 each is to be tested. FAT is to be forwarded to: NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER CARDEROCK DIVISION (NSWCCD-SSES CODE 926) NAVAL BUSINESS CENTER BUILDING 542 1601 LANGLEY AVE PHILADELPHIA, PA 19112-5051 ATTENTION: ALAN MCCARRICK, CODE 926 PHONE # 215-897-7824 The requested delivery is as follows: FAT 45 days, Govt evaluation 30 days, production after FAT approval 75 days. The total delivery is 150 days. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on September 28, 2010. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. Subcontracting plan is not required. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on September 30, 2010. The solicitation issue date is October 15, 2010. The closing date is November 15, 2010. The estimated award date is December 14, 2010.
