- This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Furthermore, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a bridge contract to ITT Industries to continue to provide TSM Engineering, Operations, and Management (TEOM) services. This bridge extension is pursued in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to award a non-competitive 6-month contract, with four 1-month options, to ITT. This award will allow the FAA to maintain continuity and consistency in its services while completing the current competitive selection procedures for a new contract, Enterprise Communications Support Services (ECSS). ECSS will replace TEOM. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirement, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be directed to Kathy St. Hill, Contracting Officer by 10:00 A.M., Eastern Time, Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Responses may be submitted via email at Kathy.Sthill@faa.gov. All interested parties are advised the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred associated with any response to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with submissions related to this announcement will be solely at the interested party's expense.
