- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Waters Corporation to provide personnel with appropriate training and experience to perform a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan including inspection, repair service, software maintenance as required by the Laboratory of Structural Biology, Mass Spectometry Laboratory Group at NIEHS (RTP). This requirement entails the preventative maintenance and repair of Q-tof Global and Q-tof Premier Mass Spectometry instrumentation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepare in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under RFQDG2010107. This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-42 dated July 16, 2010. ISSUED AS SOLE SOURCE. To the government's knowledge only Waters Corporation has the capability to perform this requirement. Only one award will result from thsi requirement consistent with NAICS code 334516/500 employees. The following information must be included with the response. Company name, authorized Representative, Address, title, telephone number, email address: fax number, DUNS number, TAX ID/Employer ID: Price valid until (date): Discount terms (NET 30) if unspecified, signature, name and remittance address(if different from mailing address). Notification of any changes shall be made only on the internet. Qutotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the information listed. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the time of the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered.
