- AWARD NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO REMOVE EXISTING MATERIALS, INSTALL CONCRETE HEADER AND AC PAVEMENT TO BE USED FOR PARKING AT SHELTER B, SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY NATIONAL CEMETERY IN GUSTINE, CA. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, has awarded a contract after soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-10-IB-0149 for the following: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, material, and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of existing gravel (approx. 459 CY), prepare and compact sub-base, install base material, Install & cure approximately 480 LF of concrete header, placement of 3" Asphaltic Concrete Pavement (approx. 3,443 SF) parking area and walkway at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery as described herein and other specific tasks as further defined by this Invitation for Bid (IFB), drawings and specifications. NAICS CODE: 238990 SIZE STANDARD: $14.0 Million METHOD OF AWARD: IN ACCORDANCE WITH 38 U.S.C. 812.7 (D): THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE 100% FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT. Award was made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 14 to a responsible and responsive service-disabled veteran-owned small business responding to this solicitation.
