- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number N0001511001. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-43 dated July 2, 2010. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a small business concern. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423430, which has a size standard of 100 EMPLOYEES. The Office of Naval Intelligence has a requirement to procure a quantity of 160 (one hundred and sixty) Hitachi 2TB Ultrastar AK7200 SATA HDD 32MB 3.5 Inch Internal Hard Drive or EQUAL. The selected vendor will need to invoice through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). FAR provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition are as follows: FAR 52.212-1, Evaluation - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders - Commercial Items. Offers will be accepted via email no later than 2:00pm EST, October 7, 2010 to cdwilliams@nmic.navy.mil.
