- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for the services of a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to provide the comprehensive service and repair of both the access control and the security camera systems located throughout the New Orleans District buildings and grounds located at 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana. These services will cover both routine maintenance on all equipment and software associated with the systems and all repairs on hardware and software required to maintain the systems in a mission acceptable operational status at all times. Contractors must have experience/certification with Hirsh-Velocity and Bosch camera systems and be vetted through USACE, Huntsville Center (CEHNC). Stringent requirements include but are not limited to the Contractor having sufficient qualified and experienced technicians capable of meeting the mandatory 2-hour on-site response time on a 24-hour basis 365 days a year. The requirement is for a base period with 4 option periods. This requirement is being issued as Unrestricted under Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W912P8-10-T-0167 and is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under Far Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The designated NAICS code is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5 million. A single firm-fixed contract will be made to the responsible and responsive offeror whose price and past performance represent the best overall value to the Government. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. Offerors must either complete and return Far 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items with their quote; or, as provided in paragraph (b)(2) may complete their annual representations and certifications in ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov.
