- Final Clarifications 1.) What is the name and contact information of the company that services the sanitary units Workplace Essentials, (410)717-0007 2.) Is there a sub contractor for the trash pick-up and removal, if so what is their name and contact information Beltway Disposal Services 202-722-2240 (NOT EASTERN TRANS WASTE) 3.) As there are areas that must be cleaned during the day and with an escort, what are the current staffing level and is that satisfactory to the government Currently, there are three (3) custodial employees during the day and an additional sixteen (16) at night. This does not include sub-contractors who pick up the dumpster, bulk trash (debris) or the sanitary containers. The current compliment of cleaning personnel is sufficient for our needs. 4.) With regards to the pick-up tickets for container and debris removal, is this a form that exit from government or is the contractor to provide a form.. The contractor can provide the form. 1.) Company that services the sanitary units is Workplace Essentials, 410-717-0007 2.) Sub contractor for the trash pick-up and removal is Beltway Disposal Services 202-722-2240 (NOT EASTERN TRANS WASTE) 3.) Terrazzo Grinding is performed by Elegant Floor Service (301) 608-0818 Also, Clarification of one of the forklifts listed on the S.O.W. This is an LP gas powered lift not a battery powered Landoll B40/48 IC-180D forklift FTC W.H. 601B-03895 LP gas. Clarification of the terrazzo requirements: The terrazzo floors are required to be cleaned and polished three (3) times per year (all 68,354 sq. ft.). During these three (3) cleanings, it may be necessary to perform grinding in a few problem areas which may have become scratched. This grinding is referred to as "where necessary" in the quality requirements section of the cleaning requirements guide. The actual grinding of one (1) entire floor is to take place once per year. For example: in 2011 the 3rd floor (in its entirety including rest rooms) is to receive the grinding process. In 2012 the 4th floor terrazzo (in its entirety including rest rooms) is to receive the grinding process. In 2013 the 5th floor terrazzo (in its entirety including rest rooms) is to receive the grinding process. In 2014 the 6th floor terrazzo (in its entirety including rest rooms) is to receive the grinding process. In 2015 the 7th floor terrazzo (in its entirety including rest rooms) is to receive the grinding process. Also, the 6th and 7th floors contain less square footage of terrazzo (about half) of floors 1~5. On page 75 it says under permits that we need to have solid waste collection permit before the start of the contract, but then goes on to say the permit must be sent in with the bid. Is it require with the bid? If we intend to use a subcontractor do we need to submit their waste collection permit with the bid? Permit may be sent in upon award to the winning bidder. You do not need to submit the permit at the time of bidding.
