NAICS: 333319 Subject: TIRE RUN-FLAT INSERTION MACHINE The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Contracts Department (Code S1924) intends to solicit and contract with Hutchinson Industries, Inc on a sole-source basis for the Run Flat Insertion machine described below. No solicitation will be posted on this website for this requirement. (1) National Stock Number “ N/A (2)Specification / Qualification “ The requirement is for a Run Flat Insertion/Removal Machine with the performance capability of mounting and dismounting run flats, Hutchinson Model Numbers - VF0010, VF0015, and VF0025. The run-flats are inserted into Michelin tires for HMMWV, MRAP, and LAV vehicles. Tire sizes ranging from 37x13.50R16.5 to 16.00R20. Any alternate source able to provide a machine with these capabilities may contact the Government point of contact of this synopsis to be considered for future requirements. (3) Manufacturer- Hutchinson Industries, Inc (CAGE CODE 62161) CLIN 0001 “ Run Flat Machine, Hutchinson model BM083HD (4) Destination Information “ MCLB Albany, GA 31704 (5) Award Procedures - The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed- Price contract for commercial supplies, with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold for this requirement. The anticipated award date is 22 October 2010.
