- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is Q1560110302, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 454312; the associated small business size standard is 50 employees. This solicitation will result in one or more awards of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), to vendors determined to be responsive and responsible. The Government will consider past performance in determining responsibility. DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service has a requirement for approximately 29,000 gallons of propane at multiple delivery locations. The performance period will be from October 18, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Orders will be placed via telephone, fax, or email as mutually agreed upon. The BPA will specify individuals authorized to place orders. Vendors must be capable of delivery within two business days of notification and in quantities of less than a full truckload. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. Vendor shall notify the park 24 hours prior to delivery. Delivery tickets are required and must be signed by the NPS receiving official at time of delivery. DELIVERY LOCATIONS: 1) Wind Cave National Park, 26611 US Highway 385, Hot Springs, SD, 57747 (limited navigation for tractor trailers) - Visitor Center, Building B-01; TANK CAPACITY: 3,900 GL - VIP Center, Building B-15; TANK CAPACITY: 1,000 GL - Maintenance Shop, Building B-17; TANK CAPACITY: 3,000 GL - Lower Housing Complex, Building B-43; TANK CAPACITY: 2,000 GL 2) Jewel Cave National Monument, 11149 US Highway 16, Custer, SD, 57730 - Visitor Center, Building #6; TANK CAPACITY: 1,000 GL - Administration Building, Building #12; TANK CAPACITY: 500 GL - Maintenance Shop, Building #9; TANK CAPACITY: 500 GL - Lithograph Canyon, Building #30; TANK CAPACITY: 500 GL 3) Custer Apartment Complex, 701 N. Third Street, Custer, SD, 57730, Building #35; TANK CAPACITY: 1,000 GL Potential contractors should visit the sites prior to submitting a quote. PRICE: The government will only be obligated to the extent of authorized purchases actually made in accordance with the BPA, and shall only pay for actual quantities received. Each individual order shall not exceed $3,000, and the maximum authorized limit of the BPA shall not exceed $50,000. INVOICE & PAYMENT: The unit price per gallon charged to the Government shall be no more than the unit price charged to the vendor's other customers.
