- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-10-Q-0840 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43, Defense Circular Number 20100927, Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-0903. This procurement is being solicited as full and open competition. DESCRIPTION: **Manufactuerer of products is Medtronics. All products are "or equal". 0001 - 1 EA: Kit legend stylus console Model #EK001, integrated power console. 0002 - 1 EA: Kit legend stylus Motor IPC Model #EK003, EM 200 drill. 0003 - 2 EA: 2.4MM Model #AS07 attachment. Shipping charges will not be a separate line item; incorporate any shipping/packing charges into the costs of the other line items. All equal items will be evaluated by the customer for technical capability/acceptability Shipping will be FOB Destination to; 12 AF/SG Davis-Monthan AFB Tucson AZ 85707. Please include an ESTIMATED DATE OF DELIVERY ARO. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance, based on the salient characteristics listed above.
