Description
The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, Indiana intends to negotiate with Frontier Communications to provide quantity 2 local Primary Rate ISDN (PRI) lines with the addition of Caller ID, and 400 DID numbers in the ranges of: 260-421-1000 through 260-421-1099; 260-421-1800 through 260-421-1899; 260-460-1300 through 260-460-1399; and 260-460-1400 through 260-460-1499. Existing main number of 260-426-5431 shall remain the same and be the BTN. The Contractor shall be the actual provider and a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) licensed by the Federal Communications Commission and not be a reseller or a third party. The proposed action is for preventative maintenance services, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Government believes that only one (1) responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, but responses received on or before September 29, 2010 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is only within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be submitted in writing to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Attention: David Garrison, Contracting Officer (90CSC), 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, email at David.Garrison@va.gov or fax at 317-988-1809. Responses must be received no later than 4:30pm, Wednesday, September 29, 2009. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
