- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THE ACTIONDESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT (NNS10AA84C). AS SUCH, THISOPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This action has beenawarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (PL 111-5). Incompliance with the ARRA, the Government posts this notice that modification 4 undercontract NNS10AA84C was issued to Trans Gulf Constructors, Inc. The ARRA work to beperformed as a result of this contract modification is as follows: correct some pipeanalysis issues noted with the pipe fabrication contractor to their final model, fixproblems with several supports due to field fit modifications of new LH piping, correct afield fit problem with a new support for the LOX on-stand piping, perform additionalfield welding of the expansion joint liners, replace two stainless steel number 4 bosses,and install two new 8 300# flanges downstream of the LOX run tank. This modification isissued under an existing Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract which was awarded on acompetitive basis. These changes are within the general scope of the contract and willextend the contract period of performance for 21 calendar days. Oral communications arenot acceptable in response to this notice. This announcement is for information purposesonly. All questions and/or concerns must be submitted in writing to the points ofcontact herein. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note 'B'.
