Description
FEDBIZOPPS SPECIAL NOTICE The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate sole source with Volcano Corporation, 3661 Valley Centre Drive, Suite 20, San Diego, CA 92130-3036 for the purchase of the Volcano s5i IVUS Imaging System on behalf of the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), Denver, CO 80220. VISN 19 ECHCS has a requirement for two each Volcano s5i CPU w/DVD Burner, Power Transformer, Cable Pre-Install Kit, Standard s5i Controller, Bedside Touchpad Controller, 19" NEC Monitor Kit, Phased Array PIM Body, DICOM Network Connection, containing Chromaflo Functionality, with a one (1) year warranty to include the VH IVUS end user license agreement. Volcano shall provide service and operation manuals. One (1) year VH IVUS Software Support Agreement which allows for unspecified VH IVUS software revisions released during for a one (1) year term at no additional cost. System also includes s5 Revolution option (includes Spin Vision PIMr and PIM cable; s5 FFR Option includes PIMffr and PIMffr cable; and installation. Unique characteristics of the IVUS system allows Cardiology Service to provide enhanced services to the veterans in both the EP and Cardiac Cath Lab with respect to phased array IVUS, provides Fractional Flow Reserve, ChromaFlow and Virtual Histology. The ECHCS requires compatibility with the existing Pioneer Catheter current utilized by the ECHCS and enhances the use and safety of the catheter to cross chronic total occlusions in the periphery. The VISN 19 ECHCS conducted research of other system which determined there is no other manufactures that hve similar technology and are compatible with the Pioneer catheter. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by providing a capability statement and qualification which must contain specific information on supplying this type of equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within 2 calendar days after the date of submission of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
