- The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration is seeking interested entities who are interested in hauling approximately 6,000 cubic yards of excess dirt to be removed annually from the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, MO. It is anticipated that approx. 1,500 cubic yards of dirt is to be removed on a quarterly basis. Dirt removal operations are to be performed on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday only. Every effort must be made to NOT disrupt or interfere with any service or visitation. Entry and exit to the Cemetery must be thru Gentry Road maintenance entrance/exit only and vehicles used can be NO larger than a 10 ton dump truck. Contractor is to provide their own labor and equipment to load their trucks. Contractor shall be responsible for all permits, and licencses. Interested parties shall e-mail wanza.lewis2@va.gov. The government will select the interested party based on best value. All responses are due September 28, 2010.
